2026 Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is returning to Emory Methodist Church this summer! VBS will be from June 15-18, beginning with an optional breakfast at 8:30am, assembly at 9am, and finishing at 12 noon each day. Last year Sam & Lu(short for Lumen The Lightning Bug) invited children entering K-6th Grade to a rip-roaring good time with Jesus. This year we have a surprise in store for you at Emory Methodist Church’s Vacation Bible School adventure!
Snowball Mountain Challenge invites kids to an exciting winter sports event where they become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. Our kids will come to realize that with the strength God provides, they can share their gifts, be brave, give their all, and pray. Challengers aren’t just playing games. Using their Challenge Companion (the Bible), they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories, while connecting the lessons to Bible Stories. Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS will deliver joy and meaning in equal measure, teaching kids that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, NRSV).
