“And the Angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you: therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”  Luke 1:35

Another great day of worship even though the rain was coming down.  Rev. Banks message titled “The Miracles of Christmas: Love” with scripture text taken from Luke 1.  This was the fourth Sunday of Advent and we have lite candles of Hope, Peace, Joy and this day we did the candle of Love.  David said he did get his miracle this day as he had received a call the day before that our piano player was sick and the other one was out of town.  As you know we do a lot of singing at Christmas time.  He told himself that God would take care of the problem. And as always He did.  Who walked in Sunday morning,  Bonita Calhoun to play the music.  God is good all the time.

Prayers for Angel Cummings, Mary Nixon, Vera Barrett.

Happy birthday to Mariza Smitheart, Roy Bryant and Linda Northcutt.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We’ll talk next year.
