Rev. Banks message titled “The Promise in Practice:  They Devoted Themselves” with scripture text taken from Acts.  After Pentecost, the church was born.  Luke gives us a portrait of what it looked like. Not a mission statement  A practice.   We are all being shaped everyday and we are all devoted to something.  We must not be conformed by the world around us but, be shaped by teaching, fellowship, breaking bread and prayer..  As a church and community we must work together to become the body of Christ.

 

On Saturday June 6th, at 1:00 p.m. there will be a memorial service for Bill & Donna Harder in the church sanctuary.

 

Vacation Bible School will be June 15th thru 18th at 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  

 

Happy birthday to Marlene Morris and Happy anniversary to Mickey & Cindy Cooper, Steve & Nancy Bowyer.
