Rev. Banks message titled “The Promise in Practice: What Do I Have” with scripture text taken from Acts 3.  Peter and John went to the temple at the hour of prayer.  A man who had never walked was there, asking for money, but Peter gives him something much better.  He healed him and the man went into the temple and was walking and praising God.  David told how some 80 years ago a piano was given to our church and then some years later one of our members purchased that piano and gave it to his grandson.  This Sunday the grandson played for the church.  It is amazing how the gift of love and grace become an instrument of Christ’s Spirit.

 

Our VBS will be this week Monday June 15th thru Thursday the 18th 8:30am to 12noon.
