Rev. Banks message titled “The Promise in Practice: When Mission goes unexpectedly” with scripture text taken from Acts 8. David said Mission begins with listening. As the angel of the Lord gives instructions to Philip and he is led to a chariot on a desert road. There he finds an unexpected occasion to tell the news of Jesus. Such opportunities are all around us, though we often let them pass unnoticed. We need to ask God to give us the vision and courage to act on such opportunities
Looking ahead Game night Friday 10th at 5:00pm. We will go to Stacy’s Fish Fry in Miller Grove at 3:30 pm before games. All are welcome to come and have fish and then play games.
