“The Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”  Luke 18:1

 

Rev. Banks continued his series Walking In The Promise: message titled “Faithful Over Time” with scripture text taken from Luke.  The parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge.  She didn’t give up on knocking on the judges door continually.  The judge didn’t fear God or cared about the people, but her persistence eventually wore him down and he gave her justice.  Day by day we pray and in God’s time He will supply our needs for He is not like the unjust judge.

 

Coming up this Friday 14th we will have game night at 5:00 pm and all are welcome.  Bring your favorite game and a snack and let us fellowship.

On the Sunday the 16th after worship the Methodist Women will have a meeting.  

On Tuesday 18th Finance Meeting at 4:00 pm
