“While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard.  She broke the jar and poured the perfume on His head.  Mark 14:3 
 
Rev. Banks continued his series Rooted, message titled In Our Generosity with scripture text taken from Mark 14.  David spoke about how our church has always stepped up when there is a need.  The congregation of Emory Methodist is one of the most generous and caring group of Saints there has ever been.  Thanks for your generosity. 
 
Our annual Fish Fry Saturday turned out to be a great success with our community showing up and supporting the Methodist Women fund raiser. We had great fellowship and look forward to doing it again next year.
