“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs”.  Psalm 100:2

 

With Rev. Banks out of town it was decided we would do songs and scripture. What a great day of worship with passages of praise and Wesley’s directions for singing read by Dawn Woods. Wesley said “sing lustily and with a good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half dead or half asleep. Above all sing spiritually and remember this is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.  We really did rejoice with hymns led by Jon Weddle.  Jon chose songs for us to sing, then let the congregation pick their favorite.  As I said in the beginning it was a great day of worship.

 

This coming month: 

Mon. May 6th VBS meeting at 10:00 a.m.  

Sunday May 12th Mother’s Day, 

Monday May 13th Widow’s/Widower’s group meeting at 11:00 a.m.

Saturday May18th EMW Ladies Tea Party Fundraiser.

Our VBS will be July 8-llth 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

 

AA Meetings every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and every Saturday at 12:00 noon.
