“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Matthew 11:28

This weekend Dr. David Banks continued his “Are You” Series reminding us of how Jesus finds and meets us as we are dealing with life’s challenges using Jason Bradley DeFord’s, also known as Jelly Roll, song I Am Not Okay. Through Matthew 11:28-30, Dr. Banks walked us thorough Jesus’s timeless address the crowd in Caperneum. Just like the crowd then, Jesus finds us weary and worn out, and offers us Hope through His yoke. When we drop the unnecessary heaviness the world piles upon us and yoke ourselves to Jesus, everything is “gonna be all right”. Right now, “[we might] not be okay, But it’s all going to be all right,” when we take up His yoke, His Cross, and walk with Him.

Have a great week and be kind to one another.
