How time flies and where oh where did August go?  The good news is that it is okay, for fall is near.  It was a wonderful day in the house of the Lord with Rev. Banks message titled “Are…You Ambitious?” with scripture text taken from Matthew 20.  David spoke about how ambition can be good and it also can be bad.  The human quest for greatness and power has caused untold problem in our world. If you want to know the truth all Jesus ask of His disciples to do was to follow Him and that is all He’s asking you as a Christian to do.  So let us be faithful in what God has called us to do.

 

Looking ahead Thursday 9-5-24 we go to Nursing Home to visit at 10:00 a.m.,  

 

Youth Group Meeting restart Sunday 9-8-24 at 5:30 p.m.,  

 

Monday 9-9-24 at 10:00 a.m. Widow/Widower’s meet.  

 

AA Meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 12:00 noon.
