“And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, a voice came from heaven which said, You are my beloved Son, whom I love; in you I am well pleased.”  Luke 3:22

 

Rev. Banks message titled The Theophany: Like A Dove with scripture text taken from Luke.  David spoke on the three Gospels Matthew, Mark and Luke about Jesus baptism by John.  In scripture God shows up and reveals Himself in a voice and tells us how much He loves His Son Jesus and this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit and with fire.  So on this journey that we are on, we just need to show up, come and see, follow and serve, and be the hands and the feet of Jesus.

 

We go to the Nursing home on Thursday, January 23rd at 10:00 to visit, sing and tell stories.  

 

AA Meetings in the fellowship hall every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 12:00 noon.
