“Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”   Joshua 1:9

 

Rev. Banks new series “The Quest” titled The Quest for Courage” with scripture text taken from Joshua.  When the book of Joshua opens, Israel is still journeying to the promised land.  The Lord told Joshua be strong and courageous and I will give you the land I promised your forefathers.  In what ways are we strengthened in our inner being by exercising faith in possessing the promises of God?  This is God’s word to you:  be strong and courageous…for the Lord our God will be with you wherever you go.

 

Before worship Sunday we had our Veterans breakfast which was so good with casserole’s, sausage gravy, fruit, all kinds of goodies.  We love to honor our Veterans for their service.  

 

Our Communion offering for November is for Rains County Good Samaritans and we all know what a wonderful ministry this is.
