And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”  John 1:14

Another great day of worship with Rev. Banks continuing his series A New Beginning: God’s Graciousness” with scripture text taken from John.  David told about a time when he was young the pastor ask him to bring a message.  It would be
his first.  He decided to talk about father’s love.  He used the parable of the prodigal son.  It’s a story about a person once lost, but now found and how happy the father was to forgive him and take him back.

Next Sunday the 12th we will have a Church Valentine luncheon after worship sponsored by the Methodist Women.
