“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.”    Matthew 3:16

What a great way to start a new year, with a message called “A New Beginning: Remember,” with scripture text taken from Matthew.  Rev. Banks talked about how hard it can be to start fresh and begin in a different direction.  You just have to keep moving forward and let God do His work.  I love change and look forward to doing something different and depend on God to guide us on this journey called life.
