“Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed.  Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”   John 20:29
Rev. Banks started a new series Echoing Jesus and the message title this Sunday was “Do Not Doubt But Believe”.  I believe doubt and faith go hand in hand and Echoing Jesus is living out what it means to be a Christian.
What a day of celebration, with the church honoring Floyd Greene and Juandell Weddle with a wonderful lunch and delicious birthday cakes by Vicki Wade.  Cay House also made a Prune cake which is one of Juandell’s favorite cakes.
Looking ahead Thursday May 5th is National Day of Prayer.  On Friday May 13th we will have Game Night at 6:00 and the Methodist Women will provide a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs with all the fixings.  Come play games and have
fellowship with us.

Happy birthday to Karen Culberson and Floyd Greene.
Prayers for Richard and Nicky Kraft, Gregg Potts family, Bill and Donna Harder, Judy Sorsby.
I’ve run out of things to say so prayers and blessings for our wonderful community of Emory.
