“They ask each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”    Luke 24:32

 

Rev. Banks continued his series on Finding Jesus with message titled On The Road and the scripture text taken from Luke.  As the two men were walking from Jerusalem to a village called Emmaus they encounter Jesus, but they did not recognized him.  How many times do we miss seeing Christ as we travel on our journey?  Lord lift the veil from our faces that we might see our Risen Christ.

 

After worship today the Methodist Women had our lunch meeting.  Food was provided by Linda Ross and Ann Brown.  We had bake potatoes with all the trimmings.  Wonderful desserts and great fellowship.
