Rev. Banks took a much needed vacation and Lay Leader Dawn Woods stepped up and brought the morning message, titled “How Is It With Your Soul?” with scripture text taken from Ephesians 4. It’s easy for us to get lost in the demands of life.  We stay so busy that we don’t take time for a relationship with God and with others.  We need to be silent and listen to God’s voice and pray.  Prayer is like breathing and if we discipline our self to be silent and listen to the Holy Spirit we will find we still have a God who speaks to us personally by His Word and through His Spirit.  So how is it with your soul?,  I’m hoping your response is like the beautiful song “It is Well With My Soul”.

 

Each Wednesday at 8:30 the Winds of the Spirit Prayer Team meet.  If you have prayer concerns just drop them in the box outside of the Office.  We would love to lift up you concerns to our Heavenly Father.

 

We go to Nursing Home outreach July 25th at 10:00 a.m. and also August 1st at 10:00 a.m.

 

AA Meet every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 12:00 noon.

 

Saturday August 3rd Youth family cookout at the Ross’s. We’re getting a head start on our Live Nativity that we do every December.  The youth will be working on the Nativity and the parents and younger children can swim or play.
