This being the third Sunday of Lent brings us to this message “On The Way to the Cross: with scripture text taken from Luke 7.  Rev. Banks draws parallels between the stories of the Centurion and the sinful woman, highlighting their faith and humility.  Both stories teach valuable lessons about faith, humility, and recognizing Jesus’ true identity and power.  David emphasizes the importance of seeing what God is doing in our lives and being open to those who need to be invited, especially during the season of Lent.  Use Lent as a time of prayer and self-reflection and extend the love and grace of Jesus to others.
 
On Thursday we go to Emory Health & Rehab Outreach at 10:00 a.m. to visit with the wonderful folks there.  We sing and visit.  
 
Coming on April 5th the Youth Car Wash Fundraiser at 9:00 a.m. on the church parking lot.  Come by and get your car cleaned and by this you are helping our youth go to summer camp.  
 
April 13th Methodist Women are planning their annual plant sale from 2-4pm.  This is after morning worship so come on by and pick up some plants for this Spring season.
 
AA Meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 12 noon.
