“After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the time has come.  Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you”   John 17:1

What a great day of worship, Palm Sunday as we sing “Hosanna, Loud Hosanna” with the children and adults bringing palms leaves into the sanctuary and laying them on the prayer rail.  Rev. Banks message titled “Prayer’s Pathway: Jesus’ Prayer” with scripture text taken from John 17.  Sunday we turned our attention to one of the most impassioned prayers. Jesus entered Jerusalem with cheers and leaves to jeers.  Our faith journey takes us through lush green lands and sometimes through the dry desert, but the journey is before us so we can make it home.  Prayer keeps us grounded and God’s signature is on our prayer life. In this season of Lent, we sow the tears of crucifixion and death, yet we reap the joy of God’s work through the resurrection of Jesus.

Come join us on Easter Sunday at 7:00 a.m. Sunrise Service in front of the church and breakfast to follow.  Regular worship at 10:30 a.m.

Happy birthday to Nancy Krantz and Jesse Haley.

Prayers for Daniel & Jessica Shipp, Trudi Adams, Juanita Downing, Karen Meekma family, Hailie Saker.
Let everything that breathes praise the Lord.
Have a great week.
