Second Sunday of advent and the second candle we light is Peace.  Rev. Banks message was titled Tinker Toys & Lincoln Logs with scripture text taken from Romans.  David talked about when he was a kid and how very special his Lincoln Logs were to him.  A trip to grandma’s or where ever he went he took his Logs and was content. What is God doing in our life? He gives us peace and we are able to survive in this troubled world.

 

This week we have Winds of the Spirit Prayer Team at 8:30 on Wednesday and then at 3:30 Kid’s Club. 

 

Looking ahead we will have a Happy Birthday meal for Barbara Clifton on Sunday 18th. 

 

Then on the 24th at 6:00 pm Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. 

 

Our Communion offering this month is for Golden Cross which provides financial assistance for health care to North Texans who cannot afford it.
