“And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me?  Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”   Luke 2:49

A wonderful Spirit filled worship day with Rev. Banks message titled “Why Do You Do It?  Is It a Job or Something more? with the scripture text taken from Luke.  David spoke on decisions he had made when he was young on buying cars and the mistakes he made when he didn’t think things through.  Same way with a job or any decision you make in life.  You better listen to the Holy Spirit before you make these decisions.  Isn’t it great when we have a relationship with God; He is never done with us.

This coming Wednesday 6th we start a new Bible study at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.  “What was it like to be a Christian in the 1st century?”  Everyone is welcome come join us in the fellowship hall every Wednesday in September.

Our communion offering for September is for “Christmas Shoe Boxes” a mission to demonstrate God’s love to children in need around the world.

Happy Birthday to Stan McNear and Doris Wilson.  Happy anniversary to Kerry & Karen Culberson.

Prayers for Dale Ray, Dawn Woods, Laurie Barton, Sandra Farr and family.

Have a great week and thank God, for Fall is near!
