Rev. Banks continued his series Why Do You Do It? with message titled “Observe The Sabbath” with scripture text taken from Mark.
 
It seems our life is moving so fast and we wonder sometimes what is life really all about.  Although life has its seasons of ups and downs, heartaches and joys, Jesus is consistent.  We need our Sabbath day of rest.
 
We are continuing our September Bible study on What was it like to be a Christian in the 1st century? on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
 
Our youth group meet each Sunday 5:00-7:00 pm – (6th thru 12th).  All Youth are welcome come join us in the Fellowship Hall.
 
Happy Birthday Glenda Smitheart and happy anniversary to Bob & Kathy Kuba.
 
Prayers for Dale Ray family, Mike Cline family, Jerry Hampton family, Dee Kweller, Gregory Mays family, Cheryl McMahan, Brooklyn Newsom.
