Rev. Banks message this Mother’s Day Sunday titled “A Mother’s Day of Hope” with scripture text taken from 1 Samuel 1.  It was a great day of worship.  David spoke on how Mom’s and Mothers have formed and shaped our entire life.  They experienced sacrifice both in bring life into the world and then sending them out into the world.  So we never can forget about those who formed and shaped us.  God doesn’t forget and neither should we. 

 

This Saturday the 18th the Methodist Women will have their 2nd annual Ladies English Spring Tea Fundraiser beginning at 2:00 pm.  You are invited for an afternoon of being treated like the special lady you are.  Wear your spring hat and join the contest for the prettiest, or the largest, or the smallest or the most unique, however, hat are not required.  $15.00 per person or 2 for $25.00.
