“Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome.”  Genesis 32:28

Rev. Banks message titled “Are You Okay”?  with scripture text taken from Genesis 32. It told about Jacob’s struggle.  Jacob wrestled with an angel of the Lord one night and came out of that experience with two things: the blessing of God and a limp in his walk.  This world is in a mess and so are we, but with God’s blessing and grace with still have hope.  Our opening hymn this morning was “We’ve a story to Tell to the Nations” and I ask you to look it up in your song book.  It’s a story of peace and light.  As it turns out we are okay.
