Community
Belonging To One Another
Our Community is the relational fabric through which we experience the presence of Christ. Where two or three gather in His name, He is there among them. Our budget investments enable genuine belonging, mutual care, and authentic relationship.
Acts 2:42-47 – “They devoted themselves to… fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers… All who believed were together and had all things in common”
Hebrews 10:24-25 – “Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together”
Community ministry creates sacred space where strangers become friends, friends become family, and family becomes the body of Christ. We practice the biblical imperative of fellowship (koinonia)—authentic belonging that reflects God’s relational nature and forms us into a people who bear one another’s burdens, celebrate one another’s joys, and journey together in faith.
Romans 12:10 – “Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.”
Our Community Is Centered On...
Centered On Connection – People knowing and being known.
Rooted in covenant – Commitment beyond preference or convenience
Expressed through care – Tangible love in times of need
Sustained by hospitality – Welcoming the stranger, making room at the table
We breaking of bread together.
We stand with our brothers and sister in times of trial and pain.
We celebrate life’s milestones as a church family.
“By this everyone will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:35).
Welcoming outsiders into a place where they can belong.
Fellowship & Celebration
Gathering for joy, connection, and shared life.
Create regular rhythms of gathering that build relationships, celebrate God's goodness, and foster a sense of "us" rather than just "me and Jesus."
Pastoral Care & Support
Bearing one another's burdens in times of crisis and need.
Ensure no one walks through difficulty alone. Mobilize the body to provide practical, emotional, and spiritual support during life's hardest moments.
Life Transitions & Milestones
Honoring sacred moments in the journey of faith and life.
Mark life's significant passages with ritual, celebration, and communal acknowledgment. Help people experience that the church walks with them through every season.
Belonging & Connection
Creating pathways from stranger to family.
Ensure everyone—from longtime members to first-time guests—has opportunity to move from anonymity to authentic belonging.
