“A sound heart is life to the body, But envy is rottenness to the bones.”   Proverbs 14:30
Rev. Banks spoke on how our hearts belong to God.  His message titled Matters of the Heart with scripture text taken from Proverbs.  There is a path in which we take that leads us the the heart of worship.  In Christ you are not your
own.  We are the body of Christ.
We had a wonderful potluck meal after worship to honor David Traylor who’s last day as sheriff of Rains County was this Sunday.  We so appreciate the years of service to our county and to our church.
Looking ahead Saturday November 5th, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. the Methodist Women will have our annual Bazaar.  We will be serving Chili, Stew, Bake Goods, Crafts and Costume Jewelry.
Happy birthday to George Humphrey, Shirley Eversult, Casey Banks, Essie Robin Franklin.
Prayers for Juandell Weddle, Bobby Robbins, Kevin Moreland.
It takes more energy to worry than to pray.  Have a great week in His presence.
