“Go, said Jesus, your faith has healed you.  And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.”  Mark 10:52

This Sunday was the 4th Sunday of Lent and Rev. Banks continued his series “On the way to the Cross: Bartimaeus finds the way”  with scripture text taken from Mark 10.  David started his message by asking the congregation if they had every heard this saying “When you hear hoof-beats, think horses, not Zebras.  I myself had never heard this saying, but some in the service had.  Not sure what this has to do with Bartimaeus the blind man, but I think he was saying pay attention on how you see with your eyes and what you feel with your heart.  When Jesus ask Bartimaeus what do you want Me to do for you?, he replied Rabbi, I want to see.  Just as Jesus healed the blind man we ask Jesus to forgive us and heal our blindness.

On Saturday April 5th the Youth will have a car wash fundraiser from 9-1:00pm on the church parking lot.
