“Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much.  But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”  Luke 7:47

Rev. Bank continued his series of Relentless: message titled God’s Relentless Love” with scripture text taken from Luke 7.  David ‘s scripture text was about Simon the Pharisee inviting Jesus to eat with him.  As they sit down to eat a women who was a sinner, stood at his feet and begin to wash His feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair and kissed His feet and anointed them with fragrant oil. Simon’s thoughts were if He were a prophet, he would know what manner of woman this is.  Jesus reading Simon’s thoughts responded, when I entered your house you gave me no water to wash my feet nor did you anoint my head with oil. Since the Pharisee’s were known as non sinners and were good at passing judgement do you think Simon really knew who was in his house?  He did not understand God’s relentless Love nor did he understand about forgiveness.
