“Oh, Sing to the Lord a new song!  Sing to the Lord, all the earth.”    Psalms 96:1

 

Yes we did sing to the Lord on this wonderful day of worship.  Rev. Banks was at his daughters graduation (congratulation Casey Banks) so Travis Taylor filled in and gave us a Sunday full of singing and praising our Lord and Savior.  Travis’ message was on how important our teachers are and how they can make all the differences in young peoples lives.  The next time you see a teacher don’t forget to say thank you.

 

Happening this week:  Wednesday 10th Winds of the Spirit Prayer Team at 8:30, then at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Philippians Bible Study, The last Kids Club for this semester at 3:30.  Friday 12th at 6:00 p.m. Game night and all are welcome so bring your favorite games and snacks come join us.  We will celebrate our Mother’s on Sunday 14th.

 

Saturday 20th at 2:00 p.m. Spring English Tea fundraiser for the Methodist Women.  Cost is $10.00 per person.  Wear a spring hat and come join the fun.

 

Our Communion for this month is Back To School.  We can give our children extra items and money to begin the new school year.
