“Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.”  John 21:7

Sunday was a bright sunny day to worship our Lord and Savior.  Rev. Banks message titled “The Blueprint of Grace: Recognition” with scripture text taken from John 21.  David said one of the most valuable things we can learn about is who it is we are and who God is, God is Grace.  We need to understand it because grace is typically something that’s misunderstood. Consider that Grace is in our lives before we even know it.  It is the grace that finds ourselves also drawing closer and closer to God without us even understanding what is going on. There is something there that was there before we knew it. But it doesn’t stop there.  Come next week to find out where it goes next.

Looking ahead on Monday 15th the Widow/Widowers Group meeting at 10:00 a.m., VBS Planning meeting at 10:00 a.m. in Youth Bldg.  AA Meetings every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 12:00 noon.

Happy birthday to Travis Taylor.

Have a great week.
