Rev. Banks continued his series “The Blueprint of Grace: Regeneration” (Sanctifying Grace) with scripture text taken from Acts 9.  David spoke about how life involves elements of brokenness so we have a need of something which can free us.  We need Grace.  God’s Grace is there before we know it.  This Grace makes us right with God and allows us to move forward in life.  Thank you for helping us move beyond ourselves so that we might be your witness in this world.
 
We get to go to school Monday 6th and feed the teachers pizza, salad and dessert.  We so enjoying doing this for our wonderful mentors. 
 
Monday the 13th Widow’s/Widower’s meet at 10:00 a.m.
 
AA Meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 12:00 noon.
 
 The Methodist Women are hosting their 2nd Annual Ladies English Spring Tea on Saturday May 18th beginning at 2:00 p.m. $15.00 per person or 2 for $25.00.  Wear a spring hat and join the contest for prettiest, largest or most unique.  Call the church office 903-473-2411 to make a reservation or you can pay at the door.
 
Our communion offering for May is for Back To School.  Back to school is one of the toughest times for children in need.
