Rev. Banks continued his series on “The Early Church titled Prayer” with scripture text taken from Acts 1.  Do we sometimes allow bible study or other spiritual exercises to become substitutes for our mission as a christian.  Prayer is that power source for that mission.  David spoke on prayer posture and how raising your hands in worship is opening yourself up.  I myself feel so very close to God when I’m on my knees.  We need to prepare ourselves for worship and expect to meet the holy, living God every time we’re in His presence.

 

A busy week with VBS starting today.  Our bible Study on luke resumes 6/25 at 10:30 am and 5:30 pm.
