“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came and winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.          Matthew 7:24-25

  

A wonderful day of worship as we celebrated Mother’s Day by giving each Mom a carnation and book mark.  Then water bottles were passed out with our Youth names on them and we are to pray for each of them.  Confirmation will be next Sunday and they will be baptized. Rev. Banks message titled “Faces of Jesus: The Teacher” with scripture text taken from Matthew 7.  Jesus taught us so much in scripture, the Beatitudes, how to pray, the Ten Commandments, and we could go on and on.  He did not come to abolish the laws but to fulfill them.  Jesus the Great Teacher.

 

Our Vacation Bible School will be June 16th thru 19th. 

 

AA Meeting ever Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 p.m. and Saturday noon.
