“Nathanael answered and said to Him “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”  John 1:49

 

A very cold worship Sunday, but warm with scripture taken from John.  Rev. Banks new series titled The Journey: with message titled “Is filled with surprises: Nathanael.” David spoke about how Nathanael was chosen as a disciple. Nathanael wanted to know how Jesus knew him.  Jesus answered “I saw you under the fig tree.  Nathanael replied, Rabbi, you are the Son of God!  (It is viewed that Nathanael and Bartholomew are the same person).  As all of the disciples were called they didn’t question Jesus they just dropped everything and followed Him.  When we are called we just need to remain faithful and follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit. 

 

Activities this week has mostly been cancelled.
