Emory Methodist Church News from Sunday

“He is like a a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.”  Psalms 1:3

Rev. Banks continued his series on Psalms titled “Like A Tree Planted By Waters” and scripture text taken from Psalms 1.  David spoke on our spiritual identity and how its foundation is the divine idea of joy, and carry us thru with whatever we do.  You may hear the spirit ask “How strong are your roots?  Are you planting yourself by streams of water?  Faith and grace transforms us just as God is planting us.  Rely on the one who is calling your name.

Our youth made a trip this past Sunday to Shenanigans for bowling, pizza and lots of fun.  They will resume their meeting Sunday September 7th at 5:00 pm.
