Rev. Dr. Nick Sholars was our guest pastor with Rev. Banks on his trip to Israel.  We had many prayers for David and his group that were on that trip.  The message titled “Shaped by the word: What Do You Expect” with scripture text taken from Matthew 26. Nick told how the circuit riders usually came on the first Sunday of the month and that is why we always do communion on that date.  Nick ask the congregation what is it we expect from Holy Communion?  Do we expect Christ to speak to us?  Are we willing to be shaped by the Potter’s hands?  Shape us together. Teach us to stir up one another to love and do good works who in the name of Jesus form disciples in our community. Amen

We go Thursday to the Emory Hlth & Rehab Outreach to visit with our friends there.  We so enjoy singing and fellowshipping with them. 

The Widow/Widower’s group will meet on the Monday the 9th at 10:00 am in the fellowship hall.

Our Communion offering this month is for Vacation Bible School.
