We were so blessed to have Tyler Looney fill in for Rev. Banks this Sunday.  Tyler is the pastor at the Methodist Church in Lindale.  His message titled A Bright New Beginning with scripture text taken from Matthew.  The story of Jesus’ transfiguration and how James, John and Peter reactive to seeing Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. Such a great message.

 

After worship the Methodist Women had their lunch meeting with lasagna prepared by Dee & Dawn Woods so very good.  As always we had desserts that were wonderful. 

 

This coming week on Wednesday 22nd at 7:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Imposition of Ashes.  Rev. Banks will be out in front of the church if you would like to precipitate.  Then at 6:00 p.m. Ash Wednesday Service. 

 

Thursday 23rd at 10:00 a.m. we will be at the the Nursing Home visiting with the clients and singing some old songs.
