“And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing; everlasting joy; shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”  Isaiah 35:10
Rev. Banks message titled “The Miracles of Christmas: Joy with scripture text taken from John 21.  David told about a time he and the family chose a Golden Retriever and how the owner made sure the one they chose was the one that belonged in their family.  He did get a little teary eyed telling this story for that special Golden Retriever was with them a long time, but just recently went to dog heaven. Rev. Banks always brings in human stories in his messages and it really makes a difference bringing us closer to God.
On Sunday December 24th Worship will be at 10:30 a.m. and then at 6:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service w/communion.  Please come and join us.
Happy birthday to David Banks and Jessica Calhoun.
Prayers for Charlotte Rabe Frank Griffin, Bessie Neff.
Remember the reason for the season.  Love, Joy and Peace to all.
