“And when He got into the boat he who had been demon possessed begged Jesus to let him go with Him, However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on  you.”  Mark 5:19

Rev Banks continued his series “What Are We Doing Here” with message title “To Tell The Story” with scripture text taken from Mark 5. David told us a story about this weekend with his son Ryan who goes to A & M and is in the band.  David was able to sit with the band next to Ryan how exciting can this be!

During the closing of our day of worship Nolan House came up and told us the rest of the story about his father being a minister and how going to church was so important in his journey, and then he led  us in singing I Love To Tell the Story.  It was a wonderful day of worship.

The Methodist Women annual fish fry was a great success and we thank the community for supporting us in this mission.  We use our money to support Good Samaritans, The Methodist Children Home, Angel Tree and others.  We had lots of great food and fellowship.
