“As the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”  Matthew 20:28

Another great day of worship with Rev. Banks series on Why Do You Do It?  with message titled Selfless Service and the scripture text taken from Matthew.  David spoke about the Cub Scouts moto “Do your best” and how we can fall short of doing our best, but everything is as it should be when there is a need; God raises up a faith servant to do His will.

Our youth night kick-off Sunday at 5:00 p.m. was a great success.  Pizza and parents came and met the new youth leaders Brad Thomas and Nancy Bowyer.  Our youth will meet every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 and all are welcome to join us.  (6-12 grade).

Happy birthday Audrey Goodwin.

Prayers for Tina Vasquez, Cara Weddle, Raymond Sweeney, Cheryl McMahan, Jerry Hampton, Sandra Farr, Merle Hutchins, Jimmy Donaghey.

We are in a fall pattern now and I am so happy.  We made it through a long hot summer and all is well.

Have a great fair week and be safe.
