“Many peoples will come and say,  “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.  He will teach us his ways, so the we may walk in his paths.”  The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”  Isaiah 2:3

Today was second Sunday of Advent and Rev. Banks message titled “The Miracles of Christmas: Peace” with scripture text taken from Isaiah 2.  Anytime God intervenes in our life, it is a miracle.  A beautiful sunrise or sunset is one that God gives you.  Miracles are everywhere.  Think of a situation in which you want God to act and watch for a miracle.  May the peace that only God can give you find a place in your heart this season and everyday of your life.

Our service of Remembrance last Wednesday was so wonderful.  Mary Slankster spoke and we had so many who lite a candle in memory of a love one.  It is always so good when the community is involved with the family of God.

Happy birthday to Myland Franklin, J. C. White.

Prayers for Don & Betty Lowe, Charlotte Rabe, Cay House, Donna Harder.

Have a great week and remember to not be so busy that you forget what Christmas is really about.
